What was the highlight of Kita Hotel
Great cheap and quality stay in Sendai
Comfortable and quiet room which is actually pretty large for a Japanese hotel. Close to all the main shopping and food areas and about a 25 minute walk from the station but was a nice walk. Japanese breakfast each morning was also great with a variety of little foods to try out. There is a Lawsons right across the road from the entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful on checkin and spoke English.

Wonderful
Great location right inbetween the station and the more touristic area of Morioka. Everything needed is provided and the bed was quite comfortable. Convenient stores right across the entrance.
Typical for Japanese buildings, the window can't be open fully. Be aware of the name Hotel du Nord which is on the outside of the Hotel

The breakfast is great, and it's at a reasonable price too. The coffee and bread were especially nice. You should get it.
